The English Teachers (2nd Cycle) In order to celebrate the European Day of Languages on 26th September the English teachers prepared some activities for their students. Year five students were asked to write down a word in Portuguese and translate it into different languages (English, Spanish, French, Greek, Turkish, Czech, Italian, German and Ukrainian). The students wrote their words on coloured cards, which were then displayed in the playground. Year six students were challenged to give their opinion on the importance of learning a foreign language. These were presented in the form of a Powerpoint and displayed on the screens around the school. Overall the students and the teachers had a lot of fun preparing this activity since that they motivated the school community to learn a new language!  The English Teachers (2nd Cycle)
