Alunos e professores de inglês do 5.º ano

On 19th March, year 5 students celebrated St. Patrick’s Day creatively. Our brilliant artists brought a t-shirt to customize and the show then began! Our artists imagined, designed and shared ideas using traditional Irish images and symbols. There were plenty of shamrocks and leprechaun hats and even some pots of gold at the end of rainbows.

The teachers were truly surprised by the fantastic and colourful T-shirts, which are hung in the playground for all to admire! Overall, the students had an enjoyable, creative and productive morning.

The activity was great and a lot of fun. When I saw my T-shirt in the playground, I felt proud of my work. I liked the way the T-shirts were displayed outside for everyone to see.

I think this was a creative activity. I never thought I would see an activity like this one. In the near future I would definitely be part of it.
José Sacadura – 5H

We participated in St. Patrick’s activity and it was a lot of fun! We love all kinds of activities where we have to draw, paint and create things.
Luísa Silvestre/ Maria Motta – 5ºH

I enrolled in the activity but then I couldn’t participate, so I was a bit sad. However, I think that the activity was creative. I didn’t know that the teachers were going to display T-shirts in the playground. That was so cool! Next time I will participate for sure because I like artwork.
