On 26th February 2025, year 6 watched a play English and Portuguese called “The magic tablet”. In my opinion it was a fun and educative play where I learned and laughed with a beautiful story before my eyes. My vocabulary increased and clarified some doubts I had about the English language. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I hope to get a chance to watch another play like this soon.
Miguel Caldas – 6ºF

I really liked going to the theatre. The play was really funny, I learned a lot of new things in a funny way and I think it’s important to learn in different ways.
Leonor Baptista – 6ºF

I consider this theatre very educational because with its songs we learnt some words in English. From my point of view, I think it was a nice play because we had some life lessons: don’t be always on the phone! It was very funny, enlightening and nice! I enjoyed every moment of it!
Maria José – 6ºF

The characters were a lot of fun and I managed to learn English. We laughed a lot and felt captivated! I would like to be able to see an English play again.
Carmo Silva – 6ºF

I really enjoyed the play because it was very funny and had jokes that made us laugh a lot. It also addressed a real and educational topic, because the actor talked about some issues covered in our classes, such as grammatical or digital communication (tablets and how we used it). Nowadays, it is assumed that most of us spend more than 8 hours in front of screens, which is a real issue. But if we carefully choose what to see and when to see (one or two hours a day with tablets or mobile phone) it may be useful. For instance, we can learn English in digital platforms, such as Duolingo, we can watch movies without lyrics, etc. I also think that the play was funny for children and young people like us.
Overall the play showed us that we shouldn’t spend too much time on screens…but that doesn’t mean that we can’t spend some time on screens. 😊
Vasco Leal – 6ºG

I loved the theater! It was very funny and I laughed a lot with the characters. They had a great sense of humor, and were very friendly with the audience. Thank you for this opportunity to have a lot of fun this afternoon.
Francisca Nobre – 6ºG

The play was very funny. We spent a good time laughing and participating when requested by the actors. The funniest character was the grandfather. He spent most of the time joking and he made us sing. We beg to have more moments like this!
Carolina Castro, Leonor Mendonça, Mafalda Cabaço – 6ºG

I liked how the actors played and I liked everything on the show. Maybe we could have more activities like this at school. I loved it!
